Composite filling material is a modern filling material that begins as a gel-like substance that is light-cured into a hardened white plastic resin. Composites come in many different shades which allow us to match your natural tooth color. Another benefit is the minimal invasiveness required to place a composite filling, with the healthy tooth structure not needing to be removed, which increases the longevity of the tooth.

Silver fillings consist of dental amalgam, which is a mixture of copper, tin, silver, and mercury. This material not only has harmful chemicals, but it also requires more invasive preparation into the tooth and must extend through healthy tooth structure, which can compromise the life of a tooth.

We are one of the few offices in the area to offer single appointment crowns. Using CEREC technology, we can prepare a tooth for a crown, take digital pictures of your mouth, and then design and mill the crown in just one visit. CEREC technology also utilizes esthetic porcelain ceramics so that your newly crowned tooth will look and feel as good as the original.

Conventional crowns require not only cumbersome impressions that can lead to gum irritation and discomfort, but also involve temporary crowns, weeks of waiting for the crown to come from the lab, and additional dental appointments. 

Root canals are quick and painless at our office! We are cognizant and respectful of your busy schedules, and understand the demand for quality and efficient dental care. Therefore, we use rotary root canal technology that makes root canals more predictable and much more efficient. In many cases, root canals can now be completed in a single visit, often in an hour or less.

Dental anxiety is very common in the general population, but rare in our office. We take the time to explain all procedures and this care helps to alleviate any anxiety. However, if you are still nervous, we can offer nitrous oxide sedation, which you may know as laughing gas. We always closely monitor how you feel to ensure a safe and effective experience.

This technique allows us to preserve healthy tooth structure by focusing controlled bursts of particles, which gently remove only the cavity-weakened tooth structure. After only a few minutes, the cavity will be entirely cleaned out and a composite filling will be placed, so that your tooth looks natural.
